A lash lift curls and sets the lashes you already have, with nothing added and nothing to refill. Eyelash extensions add length and fullness with individual lashes and need a refill every 2 to 3 weeks to stay full. If you like your own lashes and want them curled and darker, choose a lift and tint; if you want more length or fullness than your lashes have, choose extensions.
A lash lift usually lasts around 6 to 8 weeks, until your lashes grow out and are replaced as part of their natural cycle. A tint added on top typically fades over 4 to 6 weeks.
Keep your lashes dry and away from steam for the first 24 hours, and leave mascara off for that first day while the lift sets. After that you can wash, swim and wear mascara as normal, ideally a water based one.
Both colour your lashes without a lift or extensions. A Lash Tint takes 20 minutes and costs $31. A Lash Dye (Hybrid Dye) takes 25 minutes and costs $51, and gives a deeper colour, because hybrid dyes also tint the skin at the base of the lashes slightly, which can make them look fuller.
Most clients refill every 2 to 3 weeks. Refills are booked as a 1, 2 or 3 week refill and priced by your lash style, from $69 for a Natural Classic 1 week refill. If you refill regularly, a 5 visit lash refill membership saves 20% on 2 week refills.
