Eyelash extensions are individual lashes bonded one at a time to your own lashes, adding length, curl and fullness that lasts for weeks rather than a day. A full set covers your whole lash line and is kept looking full with refills. Classic sets place one extension on each natural lash, volume sets use fine fans of several extensions on each natural lash, and hybrid sets mix the two.

How Long Do Eyelash Extensions Last?

Extensions fall out along with your natural lashes as they shed, so a set thins gradually rather than all at once. How quickly depends on your own lash cycle and your aftercare, which is why most clients book a refill every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the set looking full.

Caring for Your Set

Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours, and skip saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers for 48 hours.
Use oil free cleansers, makeup removers and eye creams, as oil breaks down the adhesive.
Skip mascara, or use a water based, extension safe one if you need it. Lash curlers are not needed.
Cleanse your lashes every day with a lash safe foam cleanser, then brush them through with a clean spoolie.
Try not to rub, pull or pick at your lashes, and sleep on your back where you can.
