How Long Do Extensions Last?
A full set lasts the natural lash growth cycle — approximately 6 to 8 weeks before full replacement is needed. In practice, most clients return for a refill every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain fullness as natural lashes shed. With proper aftercare, a full set remains looking complete for 3 to 4 weeks.
Extension Aftercare — Critical First 24 Hours
- Do not wet the lashes for the first 24 hours after application.
- Avoid steam, saunas, and pools for 48 hours.
- Sleep on a silk pillowcase to prevent mechanical damage to extensions.
- Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie — do not apply mascara to extensions.
- Cleanse lashes regularly with an oil-free lash shampoo to remove makeup and buildup.
- Avoid oil-based skincare around the eye area — oil breaks down lash adhesive.
Will Extensions Damage My Natural Lashes?

Most clients return every 2 to 3 weeks for refills, which take 45 to 75 minutes. Leaving more than 4 weeks between visits generally requires a full new set rather than a refill.
